Compatibility:
The Strong Arm 5 Mobile Drill Press works with both corded, cordless, and rotary hammer drills that have a 1/2 inch drill chuck. The Total Sync Connection, exclusive to the Strong Arm 5, is similar to inserting a drill bit into the chuck.
Chuck Size:
The Strong Arm 5 Max comes equipped with a ½-inch chuck.
Torque Control:
To control torque and reduce the risk of sudden counter-rotation (kickback), adjust the 360-degree handle—or the drill motor handle—by rotating it to the left until it rests securely against your body. This position provides added stability during operation.
Handle Adjustment:
If you prefer to hold the drill with your right hand, position the 360-degree handle to the left against Strong Arm 5 body adjust to your comfort. Many cordless drills either lack a handle or have a non-adjustable one. For these drills, rotate the drill handle to the left and let it rest against portable drill press body. The Strong Arm 5’s 19-inch handle is designed to assist with torque management, providing additional stability and control.
